Memorials may be made to the Caring Is Sharing, P. O. Emerson Richey, Sr., 89, of Woodville passed away Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003 at the Dogwood Trails Manor Nursing Home in Woodville. More recently, she enjoyed playing cards with friends at Liberty County Project for Aging. Funeral services are under the direction of Riley Funeral Home of Tyler County. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2003 at 2 p.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel in Woodville with Bro. Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. in the First Baptist Church of Spurger with burial in Ebenezer Cemetery near Colmesneil. Florence Grace is survived by her loving family; mother, Grace Patrick of Colmesneil; step father, G. W. Patrick of Colmesneil; step sisters, Shirley Balley and Sherry Barton both of Colmesneil; and a host of family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Colley Bennett, Woodville; daughter, Barbara Ann Davis, Mesquite; step-children, Sidney Boyt, Woodville, Norman Colley, Hitchcock, Brenda Colley, Ocala, Fla., Debra Hodges, Texas City; sister, Ruby Jones, Dallas; 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 7 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home. He was a retired security officer from the Nebraska State Prison. Survivors include her husband of 48 years Carl Redmon Sr. of Spurger; son, Carl Redmon Jr. and wife Linda of Silsbee; daughters, Cindy Redmon of Spurger, Juanell Caillier and husband Glenn of Spurger; sisters, Margie Mott of Spurger, Janice Daniels of Woodville and Linda Lee Hollis of Marshall; grandchildren, Joshua Redmon, Stephanie Brown, Robby Redmon, Lucinda Redmon, Lauranda Cailler and Zachary Caillier. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Hanks of Colmesneil; parents, Alfred and Julia Morgan of Jasper; son and daughter-in-law, Rev. December 14, 2003 Serving as pallbearers were Mark S. Odom, John E. Odom, James Allen Bingham, George Albert Odom, Stephen Odom, Mike Odom, Kirk Odom and Lonnie Odom. Survivors include his parents, James R. and Mary C. Ingram of Colmesneil; brother Robby Ingram and wife Alison of Pasadena; sister, Carla Lynn Stanley and husband Glenn of Beaumont; fiance Latricia "Lynn" McVey and her son, "Billy Jack" McVey of Dickenson; nephew Jacob Ison and niece Michelle Ingram. Charles E. Turner, 103, of Hillister, passed away Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003 at the Tyler County Hospital in Woodville. December 21, 2003 Sheldon Sheveland Born Nov. 16, 1944 in Jena, LA. Visitation was held on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 5:30 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service was held Saturday, Dec. 27, 2003 at 11 a.m. at the Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville with Brother Ray Reed officiating. Kenneth Castle, 76, passed away Dec. 21, 2003 at his residence in Groves. The family later moved to a small community called 'Harmony' near Woodville, where she spent her childhood years. January 4, 2003 He is survived by his wife, Laurie Patricia Rice McKee; two sons; Rick McKee of Austin and Glen McKee in Dallas; four brothers, Edgar D. McKee and Maxie J. R. McKee both of Oklahoma City, Wavil A. McKee of Holt, Florida and Venny R. McKee of Elva, Alabama; sister, Patricia Kunard of Tecumseh, Oklahoma; and three grandchildren, Amy, Matthew and Hailey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester Polk. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Hanks and Randy Hanks. Visitation was held on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 6 - 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mary Frey Auvil White, 48, of Woodville passed away Dec. 8, 2003 in Houston. Ivy Andrews, 79, of San Antonio, died February 9, 2012. Visitation was held Sunday, Dec. 7 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
